    3. Hi all, There are very few records online regarding the ships from South America to the US. My father-in-law migrated from British Guiana in the early 1900s and the SS Mayaro. I know that there were many ships leaving from Georgetown, British Guiana, Trinidad and Jamaica but few records. I was able to find grandfather-in-law's second arrival on Ellis Island's website but unable to find his first entry to the US. I know that European arrivals and ships records are available but cannot find out more about the ships from South America....does anyone know more about them? Sharon
