Oral history states my grandmother went back to Ireland leaving Boston 1918-1921 with three small children. I can not find her on any Boston Manifest returning during that time period. I have looked under different spelling of her name and so forth. Is there a way she could have returned with three children and not been recorded?? thanks for any help meg

Did you check the Boston free access passenger lists 1820 - 1943 at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ancestry/free.shtml You didn't tell the list her name or any dates of birth etc or her children's names so I can't have a look for you. But the access at the URL above is entirely free (no credit card required) so have fun!
