Liz The NY Times reports the arrival in the Nov. 27, 1883 paper Steam-ship Dorset, (Br.,) Stamper, Swansea Nov. 12. with mdse and passengers to W.D. Morgan. No mention of any bad weather. The London Times of Nov 13, 1883, page 6 reports the sailing... Swansea, Nov. 12.--The Great Western Line steamers Dorset and Cornwall sailed hence to-day, the former for New York, and the latter for Baltimore. Judging from this, I would not say the ship was two weeks late. The Dorset sailed to Montreal on Sept 13 and arrived on Sept 24. She arrived back in Swansea on Oct 21. Regards..
