It isn't complete. If you are talking about the filmed lists, they should be complete If you are talking about Ancestry.com's online CG database, it agrees with the filmed lists. If you are talking about CG lists on other websites, such as http://www.rootsweb.com/~ote/ships/castle-garden.htm it isn't complete. > > 2) I know that the arrival year was one of the most > misremembered dates on census information although he filed > Declaration of 1892 which is only four years out. Have you tried the open access to this database on Ancestry? No credit card needed, entirely free at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ancestry/free.shtml It's a time limited offer, but since it has all the ships and all the images from the filmed lists, it's probably your best bet. Be sure to be very creative in spelling. I know you said you are aware of that, but you didn't tell us what variations you've used. Use the wildcards on Ancestry to widen your search. Use only a first name. Use only a surname. use only a year and place of origin....etc But most importantly don't forget that "R" names can be heard (and therefore spelled) as "Wr" Lorine -- Lorine McGinnis Schulze * Olive Tree Genealogy (Ships Passenger Lists) http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ * Naturalization Records http://naturalizationrecords.com/ * Images of Ships Lists http://www.rootsweb.com/~ote/ships/ otg@csolve.net or olivetreegenealogy@gmail.com
