    3. Looking for info on the ship the Henry Clay that arrived at the New York Harbor in mid November 1827. My husbands line has John and Mary Bert that came to America from France on the Ship The Henry Clay. Mid- ocean their son was born on Oct. 1, 1827. He was named after the ship Henry Clay Bert. John Bert the father was born Nov. 14, 1784. I have found references to the ship on the internet so I know it existed. I am looking for the passenger list. Any help would be appreciated.     3. Hi Debbie - It appears the HENRY CLAY was sailing at least 7 years earlier as well. I have a record of 32 ships that sailed from Plymouth Eng. in the year 1820 from a researcher in the UK a number of years ago. This entry has the ship leaving London on 21 Nov. 1820, called at Plymouth - then bound for Virginia. Good luck on your researches...
