Hello to all; I am researching my great grandfather, Michael Berris, who I believe arrived in NYC aboard the State of Alabama on 5/3l/1886, if I have the correct person. But I can find no record of my great grandmother, (Anna or Annie) or their 2 children (Annie & Michael) arriving; in fact I can find no record of them until Brooklyn NY 1900 census.
