Hi List // Sue In Sue's reply to Marcella 18 July 2006 regarding the above CD---I was wondering if my Gmother Mary SCALES and 4 kids could be found on that CD The Scales name has been found as---Sales--Scale--Skale and my Grandparents were known to use my GF's middle name ADDY also I believe she came to the US with 4 kids---Sadie---George A---Eldred Richard and Nora---sometime in Nov or Dec 1887--1888 after my GF George Addy Scales came over I've been checking Castle Garden NY and Philadelphia for several years but no luck thus far I believe they departed from Liverpool for that city is about 60 miles due west of the town they were all born--Barnsley, Yorkshire Co---very possible the left from Southampton too Could SKS who has access to this CD check for these ancestors of mine---someone indicated to me sometime ago that the fare from Liverpool to Canada in those days was much cheaper than to NY --thus my interest in them going thru Canada then onto Pennsylvania here in the US Hope to hear from someone My Regards Richard
