Hi Everyone, I am seeking information on Louis Bourquin/Versailles. He is my GGGGF .He immigrated from Versailles, France in 1743. From France he went to Montreal Canada. His occupation on arrival was, Soldier of the troops of the marine, company of St-Bear. He had four brothers and sisters and they were baptized in Versailles (Notre-Dame) between 1715 and 1721. He had a twin brother Guillaume , born the 03-10-1717 and baptized the 05 of the same month. His father, of Swiss origin, died at the age of 48 years age and is buried in Versailles (Notre-Dame) 14-07-1729. Louis parents were Isaac and Marie-Anne (Chomet) Louis married Louise Marceau in montreal, on Jan. 29, 1748. I am looking for any information on the name of the ship he came to Canada on, dates, and any information anyone might have on my GGGG. As far as I know he was the only one to immigrate to Canada. I haven't come across any more information on anyone else in his family coming to Canada. Thank you Eileen
