I know this is not much information but as of right now all I have. "Mr. and Mrs. Roggy came to America in 1848 aboard a sailing vessel of the early type, which caught fire and so delayed the journey as to take thirty-six days to make the trip". My ggggrandfather Roggy was original from France and I believe they landed in New Orleans. They made there home in Lake County, Illinois and later moved to Trumbull, Clay County, Nebraska.
