Is it true that no ship names or lists exist for the 1790's from Ireland? Patrick *TODD* and Jane Carmichael supposedly emigrated from Belfast in 1798, but I have no proof. Their daughter Janet Todd McCall was born in Ireland in 1795 and the family was included on the 1800 Laurens, SC census. Some say they came in by Pennsylvania, but I am inclined to believe they came via Charleston, SC. Earlier Todds came through Charleston. The Todd DNA project is "going great guns" right now. I have searched Olive Tree and other links. Thanks for any directions you can offer. Ann
