Hi Sue Thanks for the quick reply. How are things in Nova Scotia? Yes, the 1850 emmigration date on the 1911 census is a bit of a puzzle. I don't know why he would have said that. He and Jane were in Delaware during the period 1850-1856. Three of those years he was the pastor of Green Hill Presbyterian Church in Christiana Hundred, New Castle Co., Delaware. They returned to Belfast after his US posting and then came to Canada. Thanks for the URLs. I'll certainly be checking them out. Take care.
