Even the British papers were commenting ! o Passengers: o ship Princess Louise, from Hamburg to Port Adelaide 7th August 1849 o barque Wilhelmina Maria, from Hamburg to Port Adelaide 30th August 1849 o ship Australia, from Hamburg to Port Adelaide 10th September 1849 o ship Ocean (aka Wolga), from Hamburg to Port Adelaide 14th September 1849 o barque Pauline, from Bremen, Germany to Port Adelaide 9th December 1849 The last five shiploads of Germans to South Australia, for 1849. The original lists were very sparse in their content, so Robert consulted multiple sources to compile these lists. If any of these Germans are ancestors of yours and you can furnish information or corrections regarding names, ages &c. we would appreciate hearing from you. If anyone is able to furnish corrections or additions (like maiden names) to any of the South Australia Lists, please write to Robert or myself.
