I just checked Ancestry and while I did get a hit for someone who might be the son Hugh (in the Utah Pioneers db) there was nothing in either the NY or Canadian (logically since it doesn't start until 1865) dbs for Hugh. I searched the 1842 + or - 5 for McClel* and nothing matches.
