    3. Hello folks. I'm new here. My great grandfather, Archibald McLees, was brought to North America by his parents in 1818. I have learned things of the McLees after that point, but I'd like to know more of my heritage from Ireland. Is there any chance a ship list might still exist from 1818? What I know is that the elder McLees left for (I believe) New Brunswick on June 21, 1818. Some months later, after settling in Montreal, he was followed by Mrs. McLees and infant Archibald. They later moved to New York City. The McLees had lived in Antrim in a small village of around ten homes. This village was supposedly within a mile of Giant's Causeway. I am unsure of the first names of Archibald's parents. Mr. McLees set up shop in NYC as a blacksmith. I presume that was his trade when he left Ireland. This is all I know. In addition to finding names on ships' lists, I would like to learn as much as possible about the family in Ireland. Can you advise how I might go about doing that? Many thanks. Mike Lempert
