    3. /Hello, I googled the name of the Surgeon Superintendent (Dr.Bowler, R.N. Surgeon Aliquis) and it came up with: / Ships to Australia 1837-1839 <http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/australia/au1838.htm> Ships for which Selections were made by their own *Surgeons* Superintendent. *.....* Garrow, H. Goldney, *R.N.*, *Dr* Hall, no account. *Aliquis*, J.W. *Bowler*, *R.N.* *...* www.theshipslist.com/ships/australia/au1838.htm - 113k - Similar pages <http://www.google.com/search?q=related:www.theshipslist.com%2Fships%2Faustralia%2Fau1838.htm> /but after a seemingly exhaustive search of your site I could not locate the information this refers to. I have an ancestor who came out on the Aliquis as an assisted immigrant and I am trying to find out more about both the ancestor, the voyage and the ship. I do have some information I extracted from issues of the Sydney Gazette in early 1839 which refers to an incident (collision) in the harbour and also the ship's subsequent fate on its next voyage if anyone is interested. The ship set sail from Cork 7th December, 1837 and arrived in Sydney on 16th March, 1838. Any guidance appreciated. Jennifer/
