Hi Ship-list members, I have hit a brick wall and was wondering if you could help me. I'm searching for the ship/manifest for the family of Shubl (Shuble/Shubel) The 1920 census has them entering the USA in 1912 and 1913 . .. John Shubl in 1912 . the wife Hannah and 3 children in 1913. Te family is Yugoslavian speaking Slovenian. The children's ages in 1913 would have been about .... Hannah(4yrs), Mary( 0+ months) and Frank(1yr), Then 1930 census has them all arriving in 1913. The next child birth occurred in 1915 in Eastern Pa. With that in mind, I'm wondering what ships could have come into Buffalo, NY, Mich, or NYC and even Baltimore or PA. . And where did most Yugoslavian families depart from? I have found a 1911 Janos Szabol entering Philadelphia , that could be him coming without a wife. But is says Hungary as his birthplace. Did the borders change so he could have been a Yugoslavian? And I still cant find his wife and 3 children entering the USA. I am using Ancestry but is there a better site to find this information ? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you, Jan Hayes
