Hi Jill, I can't help with a passenger list (yet) for the 1878 voyage, but on TheShipsList we have a painting and a photograph of the ship as well as the list for the 1877 voyage from Plymouth to Adelaide, which was submitted by a website visitor. http://www.theshipslist.com/pictures/oaklands.htm I checked my records and find that the barque Oaklands did also sail from Plymouth to Adelaide in 1878 arriving 22nd September. Robert & I are only completing 1856 lists, so it will take a while to get to 1878. Sue, Robert and Marj thankyou for your replies I looked at the pictures and they were great thankyou I think I may have to bus it to the big smoke and take a look in the Mortlock Library for this ships passenger list. Thankyou again? Do you know if the Maritime Museum in the Port has this passenger list transcribed?
