    1. [TSL] virus is being attached to Patricia added you as a friend on Reunion.com!
    2. I know this thread is to be discontinued, but I wanted the list to be aware that this subject line is coming in to me directly with a virus. Fortunately, my ISP blocks those before my inbox, but perhaps not everyone's does. The message I receive from my ISP is: A virus was found in an Email message sent to you. The virus was reported to be: Sanesecurity.Malware.9156.UNOFFICIAL The message sent to you had the following envelope: MAIL FROM: [email protected] Marie

    3. Marie, I know you mean well, but it is 100% impossible to receive a virus through RootsWeb email discussion lists. If you google "Sanesecurity.Malware.9156.UNOFFICIAL" it returns 5 pages only out of the billions of possible returns. I think your ISP was aware that Reunion.com was a "Phishing" website .... something I've only learned about Reunion in the last couple of days. I do however know a lot about RootsWeb email discussion lists and their security, and have run this list for ten years. ;-} There was absolutely NO virus attached, rather, your ISP was probably reacting to the "string" in the URL in the email, so please don't be concerned.
