    3. Keith From the London Times shipping news. April 19, 1858 under Vessels Spoken With: "The William Edwards, from Liverpool for Rio Janeiro, March 12." Dec 29, 1868: "New York, Dec 16.--The William Edwards, of and for Liverpool from Omao, was stranded on Rustad on Nov. 21, and became a total loss; crew and part of cargo saved." That is all I can find but I also checked the NY Times and got this. Wreck of the British Bark William Edwards. The schooner Sunbeam, at this port from Ruatan Island, reports that the bark William Edwards, of Liverpool, England, from Omoa to Truxillo, with a cargo of mahogany and fustic, went ashore at Coxon's Hole, Ruatan, on the night of Friday Dec. 4, during a rain-squall. The vessel will be a total loss. The crew were all saved, and were at Ruatan Island when the Sunbeam left. Regards..
