Jim The London Times lists the Canada as sailing Feb 10 from Liverpool, to Halifax and then Portland, Maine. She is reported sailing on Feb 10, in the Times of Feb 11. I checked the NY Times and Ellis Island was in the news because of Typhus cases and "vermin infested" immigrants but there is no mention of diverting ships. Regards..
