I Believe she arrived in Canada in 1910 "she worked in a hat factory in Helsinki where she met a lady who was leaving for Canada to join her husband in the West. She coaxed Mother to go along to help her with the children and paid her way in return. Mother had been in touch with Father;s half sister Ruusa, there was a distant relationship. While passing through Copper Cliff on route to the West she stopped to give "regards" to Father.
