Jude The St Bernhard was reported in the Marine Intelligence column of the NY Times on May 15. It reads: Saturday, May 14, Bark St. Bernhard, (Brem.,) Deetgen, Antwerp 30 ds., with mdse. and 363 passengers to Charles Luhug & Co. May 3, lat. 45 39, lon. 46 59, saw several large icebergs, and was surrounded by floating field ice. This is the only vessel with a name close to what you have but this ship sailed from Antwerp not Bremen -- it was Bremen owed but did not sail from that port. Deetgen is the name of the Captain.
