Hi Carol, The NYANZA was an 1,870 ton ship, built in 1867 and owned by J. Dunkerley & Co (Mercantile SS Co) for their Mediterranean services. In 1873 she was chartered to the Temperley Line for three voyages from London to Quebec and Montreal and then returned to her owners. In 1893 she sailed from Glasgow for Livorno, Italy and went missing. Not much help I know, but every little helps!
