Can anyone point me to somewhere I can get a crew list for the crew of the Pamelia when it left Calais in Maine USA in 1852. If I can establish my 2X Grandfather with a name with many various spellings of VALEEN, WHALENE, WHALEN etc was on that ship many pieces of my family history would fall into place. Information provided by one of the respondents to an earlier enquiry on TSL states the Pamelia was built in Calais in 1852 which suggests that the Pamelia commenced its maiden voyage from Calais in MAINE USA to NY in 1852 where it loaded cargo and left for South Australia in Jan 1853. I have the newspaper cuttings of its arrival in NY and subsequent journey to Adelaide in South Australia, but I have not been able to get a crew list so that I can finally establish the my 2X Grandfather was on that ship.
