Hello, A couple weeks ago I watched part of a documentary on TV about all the shipwrecks at the bottom of the sea - in Thunder Bay ! They are mentioned on these web sites and many others. http://web1.msue.msu.edu/iosco/thunbaywrecks.htm http://thunderbay.noaa.gov/shipwrecks/known.html http://www.michiganpreserves.org/thunder.htm http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/article.asp?sp=332203698551328310310&v=5&UAN=322 http://www.pbs.org/kqed/oceanadventures/episodes/treasures/guide/thunder-bay.html I'm just curious if anyone had a loved one or ancestor who was on a ship which traveled the Great Lakes. And are there lists of the people who were on those ships. And, while watching the documentary, I found out there are "canals" between the Lakes. http://thunderbay.noaa.gov/history/vessels/sailing.html Just an FYI for you.
