G'day Listers I have had no joy in finding a digitized, online NY newspaper, from the 1847-55 time period, that contains shipping movements and intelligence. And preferably free! I am researching a Liverpool ship, the SEA, [1847-53] which may or may not have sailed to NY. There was an Irish Famine vessel called Sea, that was in NY in this time period, but cannot find any details of her, or her captain to confirm that she was my ship. My captains would have been Hubert or Lawson. I am compiling a history of my ship from newspaper shipping movements, and am stuck in NY. Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers........Bob
