According to the London Times of July 6, 1846 in the Spoken To section of the Ship News, "The Sea Bird, of Sunderland, for Quebec, the 14th ult., in lat. 45, long. 56, by the Palmyrn, arrived in the Clyde." I checked the Times for a ship "Seabird" and could not find one sailing to America or Canada. Regards..
