I was going some notes made about 30 years ago recently about the travels of my great grandfather and his family from Galicia. They travelled by train from SE of Lvov to Hamburg and then by boat to Quebec City. The Oldest Uncle I was talking to said that there were a lot of animals on the ship as well and that the smell was terrible. Two questions: 1. Is there a source of information on the rail systems in Galicia / Austria and Germany about 1890-1900? 2.
