Hi everyone, I need help in finding out information about the Ship Warsaw which saw service in 1844 from Liverpool to NYC. I have the manifest and immigrants but would like to know more about the ship's history. Would anyone on this list know or is there another list that would be more likely to be of help? Barbara she a ship by this name is sailing in Aug 22, 1840 Times shipping news has her going from Mobile to Liverpool. Oct 16, 1840 A ship by this name is reported: Londonderry, Oct 13.--The Warsaw, from Sweden to New York, put into this river on the 11th inst., having sprung a leak. Mar 6, 1843 a ship by this name is reported sailing from Charleston for Havre. Sept 1, 1843 sailing from the Clyde on Aug 28 to Boston. April 1, 1844 she was spoken to by another ship on her way to Havre. I cannot seem to find an ad for her. Regards..
