List Members! I have just started my Irish research. Census records have listed my great great grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) MAHER / MAHAR as being born at sea in 1805. The only thing I am sure of is she was Irish! I was wondering if someone could tell me where to look for ship records (Ireland to England) for 1805. I am thinking Elizabeth and her family came into Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Eliabeth married Aaron HOWARD in 1826 and settled in Ashton under Lyne, lived there, had a large family and are buried there. I have no idea who her parents were at this time! I am told the largest concentration of MAHER/MAHARs are from County Tipperary, Ireland. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I look forward to hearing from you.
