I've "rescued" an old photograph of Frank BOYD which was taken at the Emerson Studio in Alexandria, IN sometime in the early 1900's. Frank appears to be in his 30's at the time the photograph was taken. He is indicated as the son of Charles and Anna BOYD and the brother of Magdalena BOYD. There is some additional writing on the back regarding "copper plate" and "96 1/2 inches wide". Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Frank and his family: Frank Theobald BOYD was b. 11 Dec 1904 in Leechburg, PA to parents Charles Beunaire or Beaunaire BOYD (1876-1943) and Anna Louise THEOBALD (1876-1912). Frank was one of three children born to this couple including, Emma Augusta Louise; Magdalena or Madalena Florence; and Frank Theobald BOYD, all born between 1898 and 1904. Frank married Sarah Gertrude PORCH (1906-1983) and he died 29 Jun 1997 in Louisville, KY. Census records provide the following details: 1910 census of Pittsburgh, PA: Charles B. THEOBOLD, wife, age 65, to USA 1862, born Germany, parents born Germany Bertha ALWINE, dau, age 25, born PA, a Pipe Organ Musician Edward ALWINE, grandson, age 5, born PA, parents born PA Cyril ALWINE, grandson, age 4, born PA, parents born PA Frank T. BOYD, grandson, age 14, born PA, parents born PA 1930 census of South Greensburg, PA: Frank T. BOYD, age 25, married at age 23, born PA, parents born PA, a Toolmaker Sara BOYD, wife, age 24, married at age 22, born PA, parents born PA 1940 census of South Greensburg, PA: Frank T.
