I do not have any information for you but only the fact, that a brother of my great--grandfather Michael Theobald, named Conrad Theobald, born in Palatine in _1822 july 18_ was at his mother's death in 1859 'staying in North America'. I have no indication from the States where he could have settled and how and when he immigrated to the USA. His name was Conrad Theobald, born to Friedrich Adam Theobald (*1797 Nussdorf, + 1834) and his wife Margarethe née Eichhorn (*1793, +1859). Do you know the list "Palatine", I remember that there was a regional list with this name and I guess that was at Rootsweb? - If so, you could enter your query also there. The name Theobald is very often in the telefone info of that region, nowadays called "PFALZ" pertaining to the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. So, if you find among the answers from other readers of the THEOBALD-L hints that could match 'MY' Conrad Theobald I would be very glad to hear from you.
