I'm searching for descendants of William Theobald (1822-1894) born in Sudbury, Suffolk & Elizabeth (Eliza) Whitehouse (1824-1878). They had 5 surviving children - Eliza Elizabeth (1847-1932), Edward William (1849-1905), Henrietta Jane (1855-1907), Walter (1857-1921) & William Richard (1860-1932). Edward William was the only one to emigrate to Canada in 1870. I am a direct descendant. The rest stayed in London. Hi, Lorraine, here comes a question about the birth place/region of Louisa's father George (b1833). My gtgrandfather Michael Theobald (borne 28.sep.1828 in Roschbach/Palatine Germany) had among his brothers one: Conrad (b18.july1822) said to has lived 1959 in "NorthAmerica", when his mother died in Roschbach. Until now I couldn't anything about him. They had a brother "Georg Heinrich Theobald" born 1april1834, married 4nov 1862 Sophie GLASER, who was at the death of his mother (1859) as soldier (cavalry) at Ansbach/Bavaria. It might be possible that hge followed his brother later to the USA.
