I'd be very grateful indeed for any information at all regarding on an Edwardian acrobatic dancer ...stage name Lily Flexmore...(yes it really was). Lily was born in 1890, so she could have been on the stage from somewhere about 1906 until she retired (injured) in 1913. She has been traced working at The Palace, Blackpool in December 1911 and again in June 1913 where she performed something called a "Bite my Toe" Dance. Family memory has it that, at some point during her career, circa 1906-1913, she toured Germany; "perhaps" as part of a circus. Any detail, however small, would be very much appreciated.
