Hi Derek Loved the photo, I am just plucking up courage to send ours!! Go on Dave laugh!! Just wondering if I have time to mess around before Christmas maybe no!! Just wondering if in your vast book collection of Who's Who if you have anything at all on Billy Wood's and the Ohios.?? A Lancashire based Dance Band. Or saying that W H Broadhead who had 19 places around the North West, I have only got names for 3. Dont know if it contains Dance Bands of the 30's. But looking for any information what so ever on me Gramps "Jazzy" Harry Birch and my great grandfather Arthur Birch plus anything at all on Emma Birch/Barker/Healley she might have gone by any of these names. Plus I know its asking a lot and maybe someone else out there can answer this as well. Pierotts?? ~Does anyone know where I can get any information what ever small about any Lancashire based Pierotts especially around Blackpool?? Circa 1910's to 1916! Just before me Gramps went off to the War and that is another story! Little Devil! And he brought me up!! What I have learnt about him and what he never told me! Or did! God love him. And I do. Hi Lauren, sorry no luck, the book covers Actors/Actresses/Managers/Vocalists/dramatic Authors etc and doesn't stretch as far as Dance Bands. I'm afraid I have nothing else that does either. It's an area that I know nothing about I'm afraid. Glad you liked the photo, do send some more in, as Dave says it's good to put a face to a name, even if it is one like mine!
