Hello John and Rita, I found a brief reference to Marie Kendall in "The Melodies Linger On" under the heading "Some Wonderful Women" quote "Tall handsome and distinguished Marie Kendall had a melody that lingers on in "Just like the Ivy"unquote,also another mention of the "Kendal's and other leading managements in the legitimate theatre",little clues hope they help,will check my other books to see if I can find more.
