Hi, I am looking for any information on William (Billy) Wells. born c1890 possibly in London or Maidstone, Kent. In world war 1 he was with the Royal Flying Corps in France and .it was there that he became a member of the "Airscrews Concert Party" as pianist and sketch actor. He married a Florence Pratt who modelled fur coats for Swears & Wells (no relation, alas) During world war 2 he was manager of 3 theatres in London, including the Savoy.
