    2. Hi Carole I've spoken to my cousin. Miriam Deakin was the daughter of Alice and John (Jack) Deakin of Tamworth, Staffordshire. Jack had a brother, Benjamin. Does this tie in with any of your Deakins? Chris

    3. Hi. Many thanx for info. To be honest the answer is I do not know :-( My Mum (my G.ma's youngest daughter ) and her siblings do not know any info of my G.ma's side. My G.ma never spoke of her family. My G.ma, I feel was illigitimate and was very wary of giving/talking of her past and family. I also suspect for reasons only known to my G.ma that she also gave a slightly different DOB. This info came to light via the death certificate. I do know there is a half sister and for reasons that she may still be alive will not give her full name ...... Bellamy. My G.ma's half sister was last seen by my G.ma in the early to middle 1940's, She came to help on my G.dads (George Willaim Bailey b. 1897)farm on the Biddulph Moor (Staffs)during the war. ...... Bellamy was approx 17 when she was last seen. Info retrieved from the 1901 census may hopefully reveal that my G.ma and her Mum staying in a guest house in Manchester. Other than that I have very little info to go on. Thank you for taking the time to pass on names. Regards. Carole. ----- Original Message ----- From: <CBoyer3229@aol.com> To: <THEATRE-UK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 30, 2003 11:28 AM Subject: Re: [THEATRE-UK] Travelling Theatrical groups in the UK around the 1900s. > Hi Carole > I've spoken to my cousin.
