Hi folks, For those of you who are not already aware - the FreeCen on-line database of the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1891 censuses is now available to search. Before you go off to search it though, please be aware that it is by no means complete so don't expect too much just yet. FreeCen needs more volunteers to help with the mammoth task, so why not help if you can. Because access to it is being phased in gradually you may not be able to access it yet - it seems to depend on your ISP. For you NTLers out there - it's available now!! If you find you can't access it yet - please be patient and don't be tempted to post messages to the list asking why you can't, when you can or telling us that you already have used it.
