Hi Gail I read your family history with great interest. I am descended from circus ancestors, and I, like you, am extremely proud of my heritage. My grandfather [Ernst Bernard Robert MAUS] and his siblings were all from Germany, and toured the UK in the late 1800s, before going on tour in USA, where they disbanded in 1920 for retirement. They were Circus Acrobats and Musicians etc., but also performed on stage in many cities around UK. They were descended from an ancestor only known to me as "Herr MAUS" the proprietor of "MAUS Excelsior Circus" which toured UK in the mid 1800s. I would like to find where I can see, or attain, some bill posters of the family. Would you know where I could look for them ?
