    1. [THEATRE-UK] PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
    2. Hello all fellow thespians First of all I would like to say "Welcome back "Aunty Marje"! Who in the past has been a back bone of this List. With her lovely stories about Blackpool and Pierrots and bits of chit chat here and there. Tragically Marjoire lost her husband some 18 months ago and moved from one part of New Zealand to another to be near her daughter, been to England and is planning on another trip this May despite what troubles is going on in this world, for a Lady in her 70's I think this is wonderful. Good on Yer Marj!! I am certainly one looking forward to more of your "Chit Chats" and remineses of times long gone in the theatrical world of Blackpool and the Fylde. Another one is good old Josi!! She allways comes up trumps! I will allways be eternally grateful that she sorted out something that really bothered me about a piece of music that was played by a brass band! Not even visualising it could well have been an opera written by Mozart! I have certainly been educated by this truly amazing Lady. I also thank her for sending important urls to this site. She is always on the look out to help out with this site. One young lad only recently on board is Neal Dench, who has opened his heart to be helpful and unidated with requests should be thanked too! Neal and I have become really good pals, with our passion of Pierrots, Music Halls (THE BEST!! eh Neal?) and Tomatoes!! I think Neal has done a brilliant job in people's requests and was very brave to annouce he would do look ups. The four books I have been reading are not well indexed at all, especially the most recent Beside the Seaside written by Bill Pertwee, it has no index at all!! So to do any look ups for anyone is impossible! But as I have been on this list for quite a while now I do look out and send when I read something important that might just "Make Someones Day!"! One I did send too only the other week was to Carole who is desperatly looking for anything on her Gr Aunt Bessie Bellwood, I got a most lovely email for Carole, she was absolutly thrilled. Carole I will certainly look out for Bessie, she has me intrigued too. What a character! So when I am going through this long, long list of books I will certainly bear you in mind, as I know you will be so happy, and I love making people happy. Especially ones who are grateful. The last but not the least, I so want to thank Dave our list owner for producing this wonderful place to be. Dave has had his ups and downs but still in the most theatrical way "The Show Goes On" !. He has given us all hope and a wonderful web site. God love yer Dave! Thanks for being there! Your are a Wonderful Guy! Lauren
