    3. Well Lauren you're making me blush :-) That's really nice of you to mention me. And even nicer of you to refer to me as "young". I'm not sure my girls would agree with you, but there you go :-) As you know, I'm not researching my family history as such, unlike a lot of other people on the list, but I am lucky enough to have a wealth of information left by my Dad, and it's really only in recent months that it's ever occurred to me that there might be other folk out there interested in it as well! If I happen to have something that's of interest to others, then I'm only too glad to share it. And coming across the copy of Who's Who for 1930 was a stroke of luck too. So, while I've got the floor, so to speak, I'll just remind folk of "where" (theatrically speaking) I'm coming from: if you're after information about a relation who was in the UK theatre roughly 1895-1955, particularly in musical comedy, panto, rep (to a certain extent), pierrots (to a certain extent), etc etc, then feel free to let me know the names of the people concerned. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to get back to you straight away, but if their name is mentioned in any of my Dad's stuff (which includes photos, programs, etc -- you all know the score -- as well as some written memoirs of the "earlier days"), then I'll happily pass it on as and when I come by any information. Having a list of people to look out for is always useful. And of course, if anyone comes across anything about my theatrical roots -- any Denches (apart from Judi!), Paul or Stella Dixon -- then I'd love to know whatever information you have. Well, I'm all emailed out now. Take care everyone, and have a nice weekend -- Neal
