Dear Carole, I mistakenly typed "18th" instead of "19th" century for the time period that the Preeces were active in the London/Southwark music halls. Hope this helps you find them in your book. Carol A. Preece
Also found a reprint in the book"British Music Hall"of a playbill for 1853,The Grapes ,Southwark Bridge Road and The Grand Harmonic Hall,in 1848 which later changed its name to the Winchester and closed in 1878, Proprieter and manager of the Surrey Music Hall is shown as Mr R.PREECE,dated Jan 19th 1853.
