    1. Re: [THEATRE-UK] "The Melodies Linger On"
    2. Hi Carole Taking you up on the offer, dont know if there is anythng there but here goes. Looking for any Birches, My Gramps Harry Birch was a Music Hall Artiste in the 1910s, married my Gran Lillian in 1913, At this time they were Pierrots in Blackpool, Lancs. Then they had a "comedy Sketch" between 1913 and 1915, I do know they did the circuit in the North East. By 1915 Gramps was enlisted. After the WW1 when he came out in 1919, he then joined probably yet again, W H Broadheads company. Where he was a musician (banjoist) and then with the same company a Musical Director/conductor. His Father Arthur Birch, did practically the same, but he might have been more well known in Manchester, mostly the Hipprodrome. Any thing at all you very kindly find about "Jazzy" Harry Birch, Arthur Birch, or my Gramps Brother Hubie Birch would be very much appreciated. Many thanks Lauren
