I am interested in finding out about the John Tiller Dance Group or The Tiller Girls My grandmother Florence Ethel PARKER (stage name "Chrissy" ) was with the group in the 1890's Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Alaine White Rock BC Canada
Just type "tiller girls" into Google's search box (click on UK sites only) and it will keep you going for a while. There are fifteen pages of web sites about the girls! Hi Alaine Slightly late reply, I'm afraid. There's nothing about her in the 1930 Who's Who in the Theatre. However, if she was with the group in the 1890s, 1930 would be a bit late I guess. Hope that you've found some other leads on the internet.
