Hello Peter, Saw the request for information on Dan LENO and decided to check in my copy of "The Melodies Linger On",no less than 20 odd references to this Genius of the Music Halls. This is what I have so far- "Dan Leno,King of Music Hall, son of Mr and Mrs Johnny Wilde, born December 31st 1860 real name George Wild Galvin.Leon Victor was his agent. Herbert Campbell was his partner in pantomines at Drury Lane theatre, also appeared at the Pavilion,Palace,Empire and the Alhambria,London, where he along with Bessie Bellwood,Marie Lloyd and many others appeared at a retirement matinee for Charles Morton in 1890" there is also a picture of him in his role as Sister Ann.
