Hello List I am new to this list, so I thought I would post a quick note to introduce myself and my interests. My ancestor was the proprietor of 'Maus Excelsior Circus' which travelled the UK in the mid to late 1800s. Then the family [around 1900?] changed its name to 'The Dayton Family' and toured the theatres of the country as musicians and acrobats etc. If anyone has any interests posters, or information on any of these, I would be grateful to hear from you.
