Hi to everyone .. I am enjoying the list. I've been reminiscing about Blackpool Tower again .. this time the Tower Ballroom and the Wurlitzer organ. I know I'm showing my age .. but who remembers that Sandy McPherson played and also Reginald Foort as well as Reginald Dixon. Wonderful to dance to .. During the war the floor would be so crowded there would be hardly enough room to move. Then, there was the Wurlitzer at the Blackpool ODEON which would rise from the floor to be played during interval. Back at the Tower Ballroom during the 40s, the children's ballet which regularly performed in the ballroom was from the dancing school of a Miss Kidd. Lovely memories .. Marjorie
