    3. Hello Bill and all, I guessed that she would have made some recordings but I did not that for sure. I have a f friend that is a collector of old 78rpm records and he attends lots of exchange events, I have asked him to look out for a Clarice Mayne recording for me, as I would dearly love to hear her voice. As to the connection with Ernie Mayne although I have heard of him I do not know if it is but a coincidence. My maiden name was DULLEY and I have led to believe that it was probably Clarice's as well as she had a sister called Ethel Dulley that had never married. However, I am sure some very knowledgeable person on this list will soon put us straight on the facts Bill! Incidentally, I know Clarice was born in London but does anyone know exactly where? Best wishes, Jo Redding. -----Original Message----- From: Bill Dean Myatt [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 15 June 2001 23:16 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [THEATRE-UK] Fw: Clarice MAYNE. Did you know that Clarice Mayne made 78 rpm records for the Gramophone Company and the the Columbia Graphophone Company. First one was made on 4th. October 1911 - last one on 6th. December 1931. Twenty-six sides were issued but, as far as I know, none have been re-issued.. Was she a relarion of the comedian Ernie Mayne?
