Hello all - my Great Grandfather played at the Royal Muncaster Theatre in Bootle, Liverpool around the early 1900's. His name was Patrick McDONALD, he used to sing and play the penny whistle. I have managed to find information on the theatre. Apparantly, it was the first purpose built theatre in Bootle, Liverpool and opened in October 1890. It was re-named the New Prince's Theatre in 1912 and in 1921 was opened as the Strand cinema, which closed in the late 1940's. If anyone can help me find more information about my Great Grandfather I would be very grateful. Many thanks Sonja Brown
